Shipping Terms & Conditons
Animals can be shipped door-to-door anywhere in the continental United States. Currently we do not offer international shipping. We can ship Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday weather permitting.
We will not ship if the expected temperature is less than 38 or greater than 90, is dependent on the individual animals needs. Shipping is through SYR, which ships via Fed Ex next day.
We will attempt to ship at your convenience (weather permitting) and we will work with your schedule. Shipment tracking information will be sent via email for tracking purposes prior to shipping or
immediately after. Since we are located in Nebraska, we sometimes have extreme weather conditions. We will use our discretion when it comes to shipping during the hottest days of summer and the
coldest days of winter. Animals will be shipped with heat/cold packs as necessary.
It is imperative that your correct address be supplied in full on every purchase. Unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible for incorrect shipping addresses. Please double check the address you
provide to us! A valid phone number and full name is also required.
Method of Payment:
Payment is to be made in full, prior to shipping. We accept all methods of payment via PayPal (preferred method, you do not need a PayPal account to complete this). Via Paypal, we are able to accept e-
checks, all major credit cards, and automatic bank transfers. If sending a Personal check, the check must clear our bank before shipment takes place. We also can accept Money Orders as well.
Shipping animals can be stressful on them. We will take all steps necessary to make this transfer as comfortable to the animals as we possibly can. For the animal's safety we avoid shipping animals in
extreme cold or hot weather. In these circumstances, purchased animals will be cared for just as any other animal that we keep at Sandhills Exotics. Shipments will be scheduled for early/mid week with
Friday/Saturday/Sunday deliveries avoided.
We will hold any animal for you with a 25% deposit. At the time that a deposit is made, the animal will be marked as "On Hold". If after the arranged time period has expired and the animal is not paid for in
full, the animal will go back up for sale. The deposit is non-refundable. We will work with you in every situation as long as you stay in contact with us through emails or Facebook. Contact must be made in
writing to protect both ourselves and the customer.

We guarantee our animals to arrive alive, healthy and properly identified. We guarantee that all animals are sexed properly unless otherwise noted. Upon receipt of your shipment, the contents should be
examined immediately. In the unlikely event of a shipping problem resulting in damage or death-on-arrival, the following steps should be taken:
1 - Alert the shipping agent immediately and obtain a statement/signature of their inspection and verification of the problem.
2 - Contact me immediately and describe the nature of the problem.
3 - Do not destroy or dispose of any deceased animals without contacting us first. We reserve the right to require verification through time-stamped and dated photography, veterinary or shipping agent
statement, or to have the deceased animal returned to me at my expense to potentially qualify for replacement or refund.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 24 hours. We are committed to providing you with the service that you deserve. We want your business experience with us to be
positive and successful.
**All guarantees on Door-to-Door shipments are VOID if no one is present to sign for the package at time of delivery**
***The recipient MUST be home to recieve the package. If the package is left without a person recieving it from the delivery driver, there is nothing we can do if the animals are deceased upon unpacking,
or if the box goes missing. We now require Signature Confirmation when shipping any animals out. We will only ship to confirmed addresses. No ifs, ands, or buts. The safety of the animals is our primary
**All orders that are shipped to a Fed Ex Depot & held for pick up MUST be picked up within 4 hours.
It is not fair to the reptiles to be sitting in a shipping box all day long, waiting hours to finally be picked up.
We ship all our reptiles out via Fed Ex for early morning arrival. We do not want them to be sitting around needlessly for extended amounts of time. Shipping is stressful enough on a live creature.
We want the process to be as stress-free as possible on our reptiles.
Gecko Tails - Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the integrity of the gecko's tail upon arrival or afterward. Geckos do drop their tails, sometimes for no reason at all. Shipping can be stressful on a reptile,
and although we try our very best to keep the reptile comfortable and safely packed, a tail might get dropped while in transit due to absolutely no fault of our own.
